Pity the poor plastic bag

In the tradition of the best nature films, this mockumentary follows the majestic plastic bag from its pupping ground on the streets of the urban landscape through the hazards it must face until finally completing its life cycle.

We watch the little bag being tossed about by the wind, hooked on sharp objects, threatened by park caretakers, savaged by dogs, made to hold the rankest of substances, shredded by rocks and sticks.

Carried along by streams and out into the great ocean, the little bag finally joins the community of plastic floating serenely, endlessly in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.

Guilt doesn’t work to make us change our wasteful ways, but maybe this clever little film can make us think twice next time we go shopping.
