Power company in Nova Scotia rescues seagull

We’ve all heard of cats being rescued from trees, but a seagull from a power service line? That’s a new one on me.

Somehow the seagull got its head caught between braided wires and was hanging helplessly. Nova Scotia Power sent one of its linemen, Yvon Blin, to attempt a rescue. The guy is cool and methodical and waits for just the right moment to bag the gull. I’ve no idea what happened to the gull afterward, but the rescue is worth watching.
