Rescue of a fledgling eagle

An exhausted young eagle would have died if he had not come within rescue distance of a Nanoose Bay fisher. Though not eager to come on board a human vessel, the floundering eagle was pulled on board.

Once ashore, the youngster was picked up by Wild A.I.D. and is recovering at the Orphaned Wildlife Rehabilitation Society in Delta, B.C.
